Wat Nivet Thampravat (วัดนิเวศธรรมประวัติ) is a Buddhist monastery built in western style of Gothic during the reign of King Rama V. Its western features could merge with the Buddhist function in a suitable proportion. The base; where the principal image of Buddha and his followers were placed, was designed to resemble the one for the Cross in a Christian church, not a traditional Chukkachi base as seen in general. On the Ubosot wall in front of the principal Buddha image, there is a picture of King Rama V created with stained glass. Through Buddhist functions with Christian Gothic featuring, there're few artifact decorations remained as western idol, such as the 2 western style knights sclupture in armor , placed on each side of the Buddha's domain base, and a large Renaissance style clockwerk on the right side of the domain.
